Ninjas in Pajamas (NiP: Ninja in pajamas) is a Swedish e-sports organization founded in 1999. The project was closed in 2007, but in 2012 it continued to work again. Currently represented by Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Overwatch and Paladins.
In the early 2000s, NiP was one of the most successful in the discipline Counter-Strike, according to GotFrag. The founders were Tommy "Potti" Ingemarsson (Tommy Ingemarsson) and Emil "HeatoN" Christensen (Emil Christensen). Their first success was 1st place in the CPL World Championship 2001. We all played in a clan called [OF], which was a pure clan, but we added bullet and elatenta to our lineup. Klanleider in that team was weak in managing the team and not particularly interested in the game, so the team decided to start something on their own and Tommy Ingemarsson came up with NiP. All this was new to them and had to ask for help from tootzi in creating the site of the clan and others. After that, they began to expand and take to the team people who were not with us in the lan.
It seems that the Swedish team NiP not so long ago celebrated a victory on StarLadder i-League StarSeries in Kiev. At that very strange tournament in early September, the Scandinavian five really turned out to be the strongest of all, but in the course of really big tournaments throughout the year, NiP did not always manage to show a strong game. The victory at IEM Oakland gave the Swedes an excellent opportunity to end their season on a good note and take a serious trophy from sunny California. And few can say that NiP veterans did not deserve this title as a result of these competitions.

The final day of the StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2 saw Swedish team NiP take on French team G2 Esports. It had been a brilliant tournament so far with both teams showing some great performances on route to the final. It was NiP who took the trophy though after winning the final match 2-0. Congratulations to NiP who pick up the trophy and $130,000 top prize, even with a stand in member in the team throughout the tournament.
