Fnatic was founded on July 23, 2004 by Sam Matthews, thanks to Anne Matthews and Nader Atui. Fnatic won many eSports teams. In 2006, the organization received the Prize of the Year, Patrick "Karn" Sattermon, one of the best CS 1.6 players, became the main game officer of Fnatic in 2012. Since 2013, Anne Mathews has taken the post of Sam Mathews as Executive Director of Fnatic. Sam Matthews is still the chair of the organization. In September 2008, Fnatic received sponsors. This is MSI and SteelSeries. Fnatic is currently in Beat It! tournament. The world's largest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. On June 1, 2011, EIZO began to sponsor Fnatic. In January 2012, Fnatic took over Raidcall as a sponsor. However, this does not mean the end of the partnership with MSI, as they continue to support the organization of laptops, video cards and motherboards. With the new title sponsor, Fnatic was able to expand its territory in the Korean gaming scene, as they became the first foreign e-sports team to acquire a professional gambling house in Seoul, South Korea. Fnatic and RaidCall ceased their collaboration in early 2013 and shortly thereafter, the Poker Winamax website was introduced as a new sponsor. In 2013, Alexander Zavolochka, one of the leading Russian eSportsmen, resigned as chief editor of the Fnatic.com website, replaced by Andrea Makhovik, a former Dota 2 professional.
