The first part was signed at the beginning of January 2016. In June, the team was selected for its first Major ESL One: Cologne 2016. Sometimes the team managed to beat the giants, but they often had no luck at major tournaments. In February 2018, the composition was disbanded and a new one was recruited.
In the final of ELEAGUE Road to Vegas, the team from the European Optic Gaming won the European squad with a score of 2-0 (de_train 16-13 and de_cobblestone 16-3).
In the final of Northern Arena 2016 - Montreal, the team from the European Optic Gaming won the European G2 with a score of 2-1 (de_cobblestone 14-16, de_dust 16-12 and de_train 16-7).
In the final of ELEAGUE Season 2, the team from the European Optic Gaming won the European Astralis with a score of 2-1 (de_train 9-16, de_cobblestone 16-6 and de_overpass 16-11).
