Renegades is a professional gaming organization, founded in March 2015 under the name "Misfits". Originally a League of Legends team, the organisation rebranded as Renegades on June 18 2015, and picked up the former Vox Eminor roster for their own CS:GO squad. On August 30 2016, Jonas Jerebko bought the Renegades organization from Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles. [1] He is the third NBA player to publicly acquire a stake in an esports organization after Rick Fox (Echo Fox) and Shaquille O'Neal (NRG Esports).
In the final of DreamHack Open Stockholm 2015, the team from the North America Renegades didn't leave the group after losing to Liquid twice.
In the final of DreamHack Open Winter 2016, the team from the North America Renegades lose the CIS Gambit with a score of 0-2 (de_nuke 12-16 and de_cobblestone 10-16).
In the final of StarLadder i-League Invitational #2, the team from the North American Renegades won the European squad with a score of 2-0 (de_mirage 16-8 and de_train 16-10).
